I’m \u00a0Cissy Fridfinnsson, and I am so happy to share Tidbits of Joy with you.\u00a0 I am married to a wonderful man, Mark Fridfinnsson, that God brought into my life after being a widow for awhile.\u00a0 God is so good and He has great plans for our futures. I know that firsthand.\u00a0 You can’t outdream God!!!<\/p>\n

I want to apologize for the state of this site.\u00a0 I have not worked on it for years, while my previous husband was sick and then went home to be with the Lord.\u00a0 A lot of photos are missing.\u00a0 I will be working on getting in back in order.\u00a0<\/p>\n
I am a self-taught cook and hostess. \u00a0I really enjoy all things kitchen, especially having dinner parties complete with table decorations and delicious, healthy food. I am most happy when I have friends and family around my table but I must admit I do like showing them my latest kitchen gadgets, recipes, and things that make my kitchen function easily and makes my kitchen a JOYFUL<\/strong> place. \u00a0 My friends call me “The\u00a0Gadget Queen”. \u00a0 I can’t wait to share some of my favorite ” Tidbit Gadgets” with you.\u00a0<\/p>\n I am also passionate about helping women be\u00a0comfortable in their kitchens, so they will have friends and family over without being so stressed. \u00a0I am looking forward to helping you find quick and easy ways that will work with your busy life\u00a0. \u00a0<\/span>I hope to mentor and encourage<\/em> you to embrace the art of hospitality in a practical way to make memories in your home especially in your kitchen. \u00a0<\/p>\n I have led and taught hands on cooking classes, the art of folding napkins, flower arranging and setting a beautiful table to many women. \u00a0By learning hospitality skills we can bring \u00a0joy<\/strong> into our homes and then that joy<\/strong> can overflow to all those who enter in.<\/p>\n We all know everyone gathers in the kitchen. \u00a0Why is that? \u00a0It is a place filled with Joy<\/strong> and MEMORIES! \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n When I am not in my kitchen I am busy blogging, studying God’s word,\u00a0 working in my garden, embroidering pretty much anything I can sew on and serving at our church.\u00a0<\/p>\n I started Tidbits of Joy in the fall of 2013 because I was encouraged by a dear friend and by the wonderful women who helped with Apples of Gold, \u00a0a ministry we did together mentoring young women in the lessons of Titus 2 and hospitality skills. I wanted to blog all the recipes we served during the 7 weeks they were with us. \u00a0The thought being Tidbits of Joy would be a good source for them when they start cooking in their own kitchens.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n I look forward to sharing with you things that bring Joy<\/strong> to my kitchen, \u00a0Joy<\/strong> to my life and especially the source of all Joy<\/strong>, Jesus Christ. \u00a0God Bless.<\/p>\n Thanks for stopping by, I am honored.<\/p>\n
